ISOBEL is the tale of a young girl of the same name, born into a society where looks determine the worth of all life's aspects, and her dealing with the sudden impact of losing her eyesight. Through her journey in coping with this, the story seeks to deal with themes of self-discovery, ableism, emotional abuse, standards of beauty, and matters of self-worth as Isobel comes to understand herself and her situation.

ISOBEL is written and illustrated by Nicole Feltz (coloquially Ruby Ruby), an illustrator and graphic designer based in Illinois with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media with a concentration in Graphic Design. She loves summer, hazy imagery, soft things, birds, and fish. And hugs?
